There will only ever be one first release for Amber Lane Distillery, and this bottling has all of the hallmarks of a release that will go down in Australian whisky history as defining a new style of Australian whisky. Many are describing it as distinctly "Speyside" in style. Presented in a generous 700mL bottled at 50.6 ABV%, this is a rich and delicious dram that has amazed many with its complexity and balance. Amber Lane has found a delicate balance between malted whisky aged variously in Australian Apera, PX Sherry and Bourbon casks to produce perfection in the glass.

An impressive finish, a nice healthy proof of 50.6%, and a nice balance of flavours like apple pie, sweet barley sugar, Nutri-grain and cotton candy. An Australian whisky first release from large casks, big flavours, and a cracking kickoff into the scene. Well done Rod and team!"

Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Sweet barley-driven with vanilla and honeycomb
Taste: Apple pie with brandy custard; raspberry ripple vanilla ice cream sprinkled with shards of honeycomb and delicate wisps of fairy floss; creme brulee with ginger and lychee sorbet; apricot and raisin chocolate mousse with a caramel sauce.
Finish: long and satisfying with lasting toffee sweetness
